The Leadership of God's People
Numbers 28:16-17 - "Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd."
God himself protected his people by providing strong, intelligent, wise leaders to guide them and keep them safe.
Isaiah 3:1-3 - "For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away fromJerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole
stay of water. The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the
prudent, and the ancient, the captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor,
and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by
another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable."
The things that happened to God's people back in Isaiah's day are a 'type', an example, of the things which are happening today, in the last days.
1 Corinthians 10:11 - "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."
Today, 2020, we are living in a time when the leaders in the above verses do not exist. When I was young:
- our leaders were strong, our country protected others
- fathers and mothers were actually parents
- teaching wasn't just a job
- business owners cared about their employees
- salespeople were polite, attentive, and helpful
- employees were loyal to their companies and wanted to do a good job
- parents taught their children how to live in the real world
- people loved and respected their country
- if your parents made you wear your pants around your knees you would have hated it
- the family went to church together on Sunday
- secretaries were called secretaries not administrative assistants
- our military was the best in the world
- "In God We Trust" meant something
- people had morals and standards that they stood up for
- you earned your way to college
- people earned respect
- you could walk down the street and talk to friends in rocking chairs on their porches
- police were great people who helped, and kept you safe
- people tried to look presentable
- we ate meals as a family around the table, we said grace
- whining usually got you smacked
- people emigrated to the US because there was freedom and a chance to build a great life
- you could send your kids out trick-or-treating by themselves
- you could take a walk without having to lock your doors
- you knew all the songs in the hymnbook
- you didn't have money to buy anything you wanted, you saved, then you took care of it
- you respected your elders
Have you noticed the decline in strong and effective male leadership? What does it mean for us today? What will it mean for future generations? It started in the mid-1960s as small cracks in the ‘nuclear family’.
The 5th Trumpet sounded. Didn't hear it? Don't worry, it was a sign, not a sound. Since then there has been a slow decline in morals, respect, religion, business, politics, schooling, and basically everything else. Is anything on the above list still in existence today? - Not one thing. We no longer have the strong effective male leaders of old. Where did they go?You may need to read that top verse again - Isaiah 3:1-3 - GOD took them away and put in their place children and women. Yes, today were are being ruled by women and children.
Children, here, doesn't mean kids, it means people with very little experience, intelligence, wisdom, or ability. Women refers to both the true females of our species and the feminized males.
Isaiah 3:12 - "As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths."
All of this is happening right now - today, May 2021 all over the world. Why? Because we, as God's people, have turned our backs on Him.
HE IS TRYING TO GET OUR ATTENTION!.
Do you know when God had Isaiah write these words about the last days - 2700 years ago. Isaiah told God's people to repent or this would happen - guess what? We didn't repent, and it is occurring as you are reading this.
Satan is on this earth right now, today - unrevealed.
Soon he will be revealed - apostasy will reveal him. Most of us will believe that he is Jesus - surprise he's not!
A very short time after that the real Jesus, the Messiah himself, will return. We need to stand ready. We need to know the signs of his coming. Read about them in Jesus' own words - Matthew 24 and 25. They were put there, on purpose, to inform - YOU.
The 2nd coming was discussed in prophesies, types, and parables in every book of the Bible, old and new testaments. This is nothing new.
Look around. Watch Satan and his followers - liars, thieves, thieves, murderers - take over. Watch as our leaders - juveniles, women, and weak men, do little or nothing to stop it. It's getting worse, daily, as the Day of the LORD approaches.
The answer is prayer, and lots of it, to Almighty God to remember the promises he made to his people and to come quickly.
2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Revelation 20:20 - "... Even so come Lord Jesus."
